From Feb 2-9, we were in the Rivera Maya in Mexico having a BLAST!!! All of Nick's family went and stayed together at the El Dorado Maroma resort, which is south of Cancun, but north of Playa Del Carmen. The weather was amazing - hardly saw a cloud - and the company was even better. This will definitely be a trip we won't soon forget. Lots of fun memories were made. Below are just a few of the pictures I took (I took 133 of them!). Enjoy!
Waiting for the shuttle at the airport - first beer of the trip!
The beach - where we spent most of our time. The sand on the Maroma Beach is amazing. The best part we didn't have to fight or get up at 5:00 am to get a beach chair. There always seemed to be plenty of open ones around.
Chillin' in the pool

We had a lot of fun at Rick's bar. This was the dancing spot at the resort. I'm pretty sure someone from our group closed down this bar at least half of the nights!
Hey Ash - who's dancing with your mom? :-)
Steve and Sheri
Dan and Nick
We got in a couple games of beach volleyball.
Nick and Steve in the ocean. There is a small man-made sand bar just in front of our resort.
Boys doing what boys do best - Tequila shots!
At the Asian restaurant for supper. Sheri's sister Penny and her husband Kevin arrived on Wednesday and spent a few days with us.
Jessie and I - guys went golfing so we were beach bums for the morning. We are sitting right in front of our suites - they were beach-front!

The Frank family
On Friday, the 10 of us rented a catamaran and went cruising for a while and then snorkeling in two different areas. It was a fun time and special we got to have the entire boat and crew to ourselves!

Even Ashley got into the Tequila spirit!

More pool time
Michael Jackson even made an appearance! Every night they had a show in Rick's Bar. The Michael Jackson show was awesome - they can dance! The Circus show was our other favorite. There were some very talented and strong acrobats in that show.
Saturday we took a short trip to Playa Del Carmen to do some shopping
It was so hot, so we has to stop for a few refreshments!
In Playa
Part of our "package" was a candlelight dinner on the beach
Our dessert during our special candlelight dinner. The food at this resort was amazing! It was all really good and the presentation was also great! :-)
And in Frank tradition, the guys had a cigar on the last night.
So there you have it - 7 days of fun!!! Thanks again to Steve and Sheri for taking us vacationing with you!! Can't wait to go back!
