Well, my 32nd year had been off to a great start!  On Monday, my birthday, I took the day off work and my mom and I went to the Mall of America.   We had the ultimate girl's day - it started off with coffee and breakfast at Gert and Erma's in Glencoe, then we headed to the Mall of America for pedicure, manicures, make-overs at the Bare Escentuals store and LOTS of shopping, and then dessert at Lola's in Waconia on the way home.  It was a fantastic day!  On Wednesday, my co-workers had a birthday lunch for me complete with cake and today my grandma took me out for lunch!  I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends!

Last Friday, the 23rd, was my mom's birthday.  We "surprised" her with a trip to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater to see Hairspray!

Daylight Savings Time. UGH!

Right now, I'm not a hug fan of Daylight Savings Time.  We've had some rough mornings in the Frank household this week.....  Jules hasn't quite adjusted yet and does NOT want to get up in the mornings.   Uff-dah... I've really had to work on my patience this week!

This is what I've seen every morning when I go to wake her up.... Yes, she is under the covers...  And is completely ignoring me.  She wants nothing to do with getting up and even juice and Fruit Loops can't bribe her out of bed!!!!

Last Sunday I was needing something sweet... so Jules and I made cookies! 

Just getting started... got the sugar and butter (actually it's an entire stick of Butter flavored Crisco!!!) creamed together.  No wonder these cookies are sooooo good! 

Now time for the flour...  

Then the best part - the chocolate chips!

Of course we had to save a couple to snack on!

Last weekend we decided to take a last minute trip and met our friends Megan, Kurt and Cade at Nickelodeon Universe and the Sea Life Aquarium at the Mall of America.  This was the first time that Julianne has been there and she had a blast!!  She LOVED all the rides and of course didn't want to go home when it was time to go!
