Happy Spring

We put up Julianne's swing today!  She loves to go "high"!

Finally...

... some nice weather!  Last Sunday we went to the cabin on Big Kandi - Nick and Steve did a little fishing and I wanted to check out the new pontoon and see how the fire pit was holding up.  A few weeks ago the wind crashed waves into the shore and wash away part of the shore line.  The neighbors called us and Nick, Steve and Derek took 3 pick-up-loads of rocks to place along the shore line so it wouldn't wash away the fire pit and patio.

And for those of you who were curious, here's how close the water got to the fire pit patio...  Looks like the rocks helped and the patio was saved!

Saturday night we attended Bree's baptism in Mankato.  Nick and I are honored to be her godparents!

Easter Fun

We had a really busy Easter weekend this year; Saturday was the Frank Easter Dinner at Steve and Sheri's, then we headed to my mom and dad's for supper with the Loncoriches.  Then Sunday, Julianne and I went to church and then back to my mom and dad's for brunch with our Colorado relatives.

Much fun was had by all!  Julianne was up until 10pm on Saturday night after all the excitement - oh yeah - and ALLLLLLL the candy the Easter Bunny brought for her.   She's a candy and chocolate nut so we had to hide her goodies or else she would eat them all.  Her stash is probably now mostly depleted thanks to Nick and I... :-)

Party Time!

On Saturday, April 16, we celebrated Julianne's 2nd Birthday with our families!  Where did the last two years go!!  She's becoming such a big girl; every day she's learning new words and keeps growing like a weed - or should I say a bean pole - at her 2 year check up she was at the 56th percentile for height and the 25th percentile for weight.   I'm just glad she's moving up on the charts- she was at the 18th percentile at her 18 month check up for weight.
