A-Maze'n Farmyard

This past weekend we took the kids to the A-maze'n Farmyard on Hwy 55 by Paynesville.  I would highly recommend it to anyone!!  Lots of fun!  They had tons of really tame animals to pet (goat, kittens, puppies, a calf, fawn, bunnies, foal, birds, hens).  Plus they had a huge indoor building with 4 bounce-houses, a playground, mini golf, a giant slide, pony rides, train rides, and the main attraction - a maze.  It wasn't a corn maze, but made out of wood lattice.

Last 1st day of preschool

Tear.... Julianne started her last year of preschool last week!  Where has the time gone...  She was so excited for school to start!  She is going Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am - 11:30 am to the same school as last year - King's Kids - in Hutch.  She has the same teachers and several of the same kids are in her class again.  I'm so fortunate that my job allows me the flexibility to leave work to drop Julianne and Luke off at school and bring them back to daycare.  We ride-share with Luke's mom so I only end up driving half of the time - thank goodness!  But they have a blast and it's so worth all the hassle!

First Haircut

Will got his first haircut the end of August.  The Grandma's were sad to see his curls go, but Mommy was ready to get the mess cleaned up!

On August 17, we had Will's birthday party.  It was a beautiful day - we spent most of the time outside.

Zoo

On August 8, we took the day off work and took the kids to the Minnesota Zoo.  The was no way I was going to fight the mounds of people on a weekend so I gladly took a vacation day.  This was the first time I had been to the MN Zoo since I was in grade school so it was like a whole new experience for me too!

The monkeys were the hit of the day!  You can't see it in the picture, but there was teeny, tiny baby in between these two monkeys.  There were other babies playing around on the branches as well - they were so fun to watch!
